Pork is corn and soy free raised on the famous acorn-rich pasture of Spain.
Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have “off” flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.

Didn’t know what this was but it looked interesting. Didn’t really know what to do with it so I brined it for a couple of days with natural salt, turbinado and spices, then rinsed it and soaked it for 20 minutes, cut it up into meal-sized portions, browned it in a skillet and then cooked it slow until done. It was the best pork belly I’ve ever had. It’s somewhat lean, which I usually don’t care for but it was really tasty and tender. I think it would be good grilled as-is or smoked. There are many options. Will definitely buy it again.

Exceptional Flavor and very rich tasting. It will now be very hard to go back and enjoy conventional mass produced pork. Iberico Pork is a major treat and well worth the extra cost for the quality and great care taken raise the pigs eating a proper diet.

I grilled one of these over live fire coals the other day, and it was off-the-charts awesome. Sooooooo much juicy, fatty, tender deliciousness. After Iberico, all other pork is just meh.

Frankie’s Iberico secreto was an amazing piece of meat. Extremely juicy, good amount of fat, crazy flavor, and an affordable price. I’ll be ordering again.
Thanks paisan

It’s an absolute crime that Frankie is selling it for this low of a price. Firstly, due to the fat content, one piece will last me for two to three days and keep me satiated. Secondly, dollar for dollar, the flavor blows everything else I’ve ever eaten out of the water, both in and out of restaurants. The fat is a mix of buttery and silky with the mineral taste of pastured pork. The meat is simultaneously chewy and tender.
I cooked this to 140 F, held it there for a while, and seared it at 450 F for thirty seconds. Even that was too much cooking, in my opinion. No more than a fifteen-second sear is needed for a cut this thin.

Will buy again and again! Look forward to being able to sent a box of Frankie’s meats, pork, veal etc to my grown children as a gift.

It was amazing. Grilled simply with some spices of Ancient Rome. Wish I had bought twice as much.

I tried this for the first time recently and it’s already one of my favorite cuts of meat. So tender and juicy when grilled! It’s too expensive to have regularly, but I’ll buy it as a special treat when budget allows.
