Pork is corn and soy free raised on the famous acorn-rich pasture of Spain.
Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have “off” flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.
Uses
Our lard is low temperature rendered. We keep the temperature low to maintain nutrition and prevent degrading the fat.

I enjoy both for cooking and eating it as it is, thank you so much

This lard is so good I eat it right out of the jar! The texture reminds me of a hot cereal I use to love called Cream of Wheat. I have to be careful because it’s easy to eat half a jar within minutes! I love the fact that it’s low-temp rendered. I think that may have something to do with the texture because I have had other lards before and none of them were as soft & delectable as this one! Time to order more!

The product is definitely of good quality. It tastes and smells wonderful. The only reason for 3 stars is because Frank was not very professional when I messaged him about my late order and did not keep me updated when I asked, so I had to email him again. Also, the pork lard jar was saturated in fat, but fortunately he packs them well so the mess was contained. He did offer a credit/discount, however did not respond to my last email to him, therefore earning a 3 star overall experience. Great product, but customer service leaves much to be desired.

I need a lot of healthy fats for my health condition, but most store bought fats just make me gag. They also take forever to absorb into my skin, but not the Tallow and lard sold by Frankie. This Iberico lard agrees with me the most and is my favorite healthy fat for eating. I use wagyu and lamb tallow on my skin, but the lard is my go to for eating. It tastes good and doesn’t have a bad odor and my body can feel how effective it is in healing me. I make sure to have at least a spoonful a day with some cod liver oil. It also helps with my brain fog.

The Iberico Pork Lard is of great quality (sourcing, texture, in glass jars, etc.), and it is tasty, too! Thank you, Frankie’s Free-Range Meat! God bless you!

Love this cut, I render out the fat for the Lard and then I eat the nice crispy bits left over. So much flavor, it barley needs salt!
