Going from veal liver to this is a HUGE difference. The rabbit liver practically has no flavor. It's extremely tender and delicious, I'm so glad I tried it. I don't know if it has as much nutrition as the veal liver, but it is definitely so much easier to eat. If you don't like liver, try this. You will change your mind!
This liver is very strong tasting but I just eat it raw to make it easier. However, your cat/dog will love these. I use the livers mostly for my cats homemade pet food and he begs so hard as soon as I open the pack
Of the Livers I've tried from FFRM I'd rank them: Cod Liver >>> Chicken Liver Pate >> Lamb Liver > Chicken Liver > Veal Liver > Rabbit LIver > Beef Liver
The Rabbit Liver was ok - not horrible - but not my favorite either. We are all individuals with different tastes and this just wasn't for me.
For my taste buds the Cod Liver is so far ahead of the pack that everything else is eaten for the sake of diversity.
