Pasture Raised Iberico Pork Shoulder Steak
We loved it, tender, flavorful ..the whole family enjoyed it!
This is my second review of Presa. I have purchased Presa a few times. The first two times were exquisite. The Presa was almost like a beef coulotte steak or a small picanha...hard to tell it was actually pork. But my last order was entirely different. The taste and texture was basically like a domestic pork loin. Nothing wrong with that, but not what I was looking forward to, and certainly not worth the price. Very strange.
I cannot believe how good the Iberico pork is. This is the second time I have ordered it. Great taste.
Dry rubbed in smoked salt and left it for a few hours, then roasted at 390 degrees with a meat thermometer in the middle. When it showed 145 it was ready. Easy and great. Very impressed with all the meats from Frankies, this was no exception.
Never had pork like this before. Very good.
