Grass Fed Beef Heart
What I like about the beef heart is its texture. It has the texture of a lean muscle meat and has good favor. However, i dont like is the blood odor. I had to waste and soaked it with water for a few minutes for it to be tolerable for me to eat it.
Mom and I loved it. We baked it in a dutch cast iron with cabbage. Much better than Whole Foods. We also served it with polenta. Many Thanks to Frankie and his team. You make life beautiful with excellent quality food!!
