All of our beef is 100% Grass Fed and Grass finished raised on Pasture year round.
Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have “off” flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.

Fantastically rich slow cooked or braised low and slow.
I am sometimes able to get beef tongue in my area but not to this quality, Frankie has done it again. Plus, the flavor is more grassy I would say. A+

You have to remove the outer layer from the tongue. I cooked it in the oven and it came out good but a bit chewy. I heard it is better boiled so i will try that next time.

Good quality and great flavor. I made a stew. I boiled for 30 minutes and removed the outer layer. Then sliced it made a stew with garlic and onions, cooked 40 minutes more; the result very tender and easy to eat. You can add tomato, potatoes and carrots to the stew. It was a success at home, everybody wanted more. Recommended!!

Well, I’d heard of tongue used in sandwiches in the finer (and no so fine) delis in my native NY. I never had it (or much organ meat) myself. After a friend told me how good tongue can be, I had to give it a try. I put it in the slow cooker with a generous amount of beef broth and let it go for about 8 hours on low. The skin didn’t pop off as my friend said it would, but it did peel off easily once I took it out of the pot. It was tender as could be and very easy to shred! I found myself eating the whole thing in one sitting! Luckily I needed protein that day! I did find the cooked meat a tad bland and I added a bit of salt to it, but otherwise, I plan on having more in the very near future! Whoever thought something so tasty could come out of an animal’s mouth!! Bravo!

I slow cooked it for 6 hours. When it was done I tried eating it with the skin on but I think it’s better (in regards to texture) with the skin peeled off. It was really tender and was similar to a pot roast. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to try eating organs but isn’t yet adventurous enough to eat stomach or testicles (which are also great by the way)… It’s just like regular meat — no weird texture (tripe) or flavor (kidneys)… it’s great!

My favorite way to cook this is pressure cooking for an hour or two. Fall apart tender. Anyone will like this cut. My dad said he doesn’t like cow tongue tried this and loved it. The rest of my family loved it without even knowing what it was. It’s just like extremely tender beefy goodness.

We LOVE beef tongue tacos. Our local grocery store sells it for 34$ per feedlot tongue. I’d much rather buy from here for a lower price for a MUCH higher quality product. Pressure cooked for an hour, and used the broth to make some delicious rice with amazing beefy flavor. 100/10 for quality taste and price. I used the skin as a treat for my dogs and cat and everyone was happy.
Also fedex driver refused to use gate code and didn’t leave at gate so fedex kept my package for an extra TWO days. I was so worried everything would be defrosted, but even after almost five days of shipping (to Washington on the other side of the county) and everything was still frozen solid and even some dry ice was still left. I ordered almost 50lbs of meat/cheese so it definitely pays off to make a large order and they take care wrapping everything individually nothing arrived open or broken even the glass jars. Some products I ordered were out of stock and I was refunded for those items before I even noticed they were missing. Nobody else would take the time and effort to provide such quality service. Already planning my next order 🙂
