    I was curious about FFRM’s Pasture Raised Eggs, and not only about how they tasted and how I’d feel after eating them. I also wanted to see how on Earth FFRM would pack them and ship them to me without making a mess. I was interested in this because I recently worked a job for over a decade shipping and receiving UPS and FedEx packages daily, so I am quite familiar with this.
    Well, I was pleased with the results. Not only were the eggs delicious, but they arrived in great shape, too. I was actually impressed with the packing method.
    Bottom line is these are the best eggs I’ve tried. If you like eggs like I do, you won’t be disappointed.

    I’ve had local eggs for the last 2 years, however it never occurred to me to check out the fed. Till I say the video come up and I checked the whole time I was eating vegetarian fed eggs.     My dog’s favorite way to eat scrambled eggs is soft-scrambled with tons of butter. These eggs have undeniably been the best for this. Done right, they come out extremely fluffy and even cheesy. I had to admit to tasting some of this dog food before feeding it to my dog. Dogs.

    I, as a human, has eaten local corn/soy-free eggs before and definitely loved them. But I honestly think these cook better, have stronger yolks, and have much more of that deep orange color.

    These are the best-tasting eggs my husband and I have ever had and we’ve tried a lot. Unfortunately most of the store-bought eggs that are pasture raised are still fed soy including our personal favorite from Vital Farms. We’ve tried soy-free eggs from Raw Farms (discontinued) and Chino Valley but they did not taste that great. Frankie’s eggs are so delicious that I don’t throw away the egg-whites which I usually did with other eggs. We were a bit hesitant at first because of the price but after having them, we would gladly pay more than $9 a dozen. I am so grateful and excited to feed these to my baby once she starts solids. Also, only one egg arrived cracked which is amazing considering we live in the West Coast. We will be buying these as long as Frankie sells them! I almost didn’t want to post this review because I don’t want him to keep running out but these are so bomb I wish everyone could try them.

    When I fried an omelet on high heat, I was surprised that when I flipped it, it had no brown spots. Before these eggs, there would be a lot of browned spots for the same heat, and I was already using high quality, soy free, pastured eggs. I take this as a sign that these eggs are really low in PUFA. The taste is very normal; sometimes pastured eggs can aquire some eccentric notes, but these were straightforward egg taste, which appeased my young children. Great.

    These are the best eggs we’ve ever had. The yolks are almost golden color. They cook perfectly. They taste better than any other store bought ones we’ve had, including all the key buzz words (e.g. organic, free range, etc.). But most importantly to me, they digest better than any other eggs. Paired with a little FFRM raw cheese, and you have a full, high quality, high tasting, meal. We will definitely be ordering more in the future.

    I’ve been using local folks that have free range and pastured chickens, but they still put feed out for them with corn and possibly soy. I saw Pasture Raised Eggs featured on Frankie’s site and had to see how this works – shipping eggs all the way from NY to MS?! I bout 12 dozen and to my surprise, I only lost 13 total. I reported this, and I was reimbursed $7! That was nice – at the time, I reported 10 lost. These eggs are simply the best in texture, flavor, and nutrition. You can truly tell the difference via appearance and taste. Beware – once you try these, there is no going back. Get your budget ready, these eggs – and your health – are worth it.

    Each dozen was safely packed in a clear carton that was wrapped twice over with huge bubble wrap and tapped. The bottom and top of the large box was also lined with the large bubbles. When they arrived, the box had FRAGILE written all over but despite that, the carrier must have hit it bc one side was smashed up a bit. BUT, when I opened all the cartons, I only had 2 cracked eggs out of 144!! ONLY 2!! So, if the mail carrier hadn’t messed up, these would have easily made it to me safe and sound. I fried a few up in grass fed butter as soon as they arrived and they were delicious! The shells were harder to crack, the color was rich…..10/10 would buy again. Thank you!!

    he didn’t have a problem with eggs before but they came to California rather quickly, arrived in perfect condition and now he is telling me he is eating almost a carton a day.

Been eating them daily with some creamy havarti cheese and they are awesome. I usually get gassy from eggs but these eggs do not do that to me.     Wow is what I had to say when seeing the yolk of the eggs. I have never seen such a deep pure orange color. These are definitely corn and soy free. I love eating eggs so I feel I know quality and these are the highest I have seen probably ever. Also, there were no cracked eggs as it was probably sealed with bubble wrap.     Crazy how shit vital farm eggs are compared to this. The yolk is dark orange and strong. The eggs are bigger, cheaper, and taste better. Remember if you eat any eggs from in stores even “pasture-raised” you’re eating shit that was fed corn and soy and your balls will shrink.

    I have never had fresh farm eggs let alone eggs free of corn and soy.Oh my was I impressed with the flavor of these eggs in comparison to the other store brought pastured raised eggs I was buying littered with corn and soy meal.     Eggs tasted great. Very reassuring that they were free of soy, as we have many allergies in our family. However, package arrived with 16 broken eggs
    which had left a mess with egg and yolk everywhere;eggs needed to be cleaned immediately which was quite a task.
    Ordered and delivered quickly (arrived day before New Year’s Eve) which might have been a bad time to test shipping. Were packed well. Will try again and see.

    Eggs come in like they have just been picked from the nest. The outer protective layer (bloom) seems to be in place. The shells are very hardy and require a good hit to crack. I use a tool to separate the yolks and whites. Other brands have seen more yolks easily bust open, but these are holding up very well. Taste and yolk color are top notch as well. Would like to see more transparency on farm conditions and feeding practices, but will continue to buy the eggs.

    Before I bought these eggs I was buying vital farms or happy eggs. Let me just say.. They are absolutely worth the price and waiting for!! The best eggs and yolks I have had. None of my eggs were broken!! Which was surprising because shipping from NY to TX is far! Also, communication was great and quick when I had questions regarding shipping/order status.     As the quote in the description says:

    I have to admit I was on the fence when it came to ordering eggs. The thought of receiving something that fragile via such harsh method of delivery, almost made me settle for my typical selection of (won’t name the namebrand) mainstream “pastured” eggs.
    Although, when I learned that the color of the yolk can be artificially created by adding red pepper flakes among other things to the feed, along with reading the reviews, I figured I’d give it a shot.

    I’m so glad I did. These eggs came individually wrapped in their own bubble wrap (12 egg carton), and upon inspection noticed that 8 of 144 eggs I ordered were cracked. I sent Frank and email with a picture of the consolidated damaged ones, and he sent me a refund for the prorated amount.

    *Remember Frank has said numerous times on his videos that the eggs are insured*

    Also a sidenote: I don’t know Frank personally, never met the guy, but have kept up with him throughout the years on YouTube and I can confidently say with good discernment, the guy cares…a lot. I say this because he’s fighting the good fight with a lot of responsibilities, so give him some grace in response time to your email. I believe he’s trying his best, but one person can only do so much.

    Now the most important part of the review…THE EGGS!

    – You will find the occasional feather, and see specks of shit all over these eggs. WHICH IS GREAT! Proof that these are farm fresh. (Bloom intact)
    – The shells are sturdy and require a good thump to crack, and are a noticeable difference to the brittle shells that crack into small little pieces of shell.
    – The yolks are rich, school bus orange, and durable. (I like my eggs sunny side up with a thick runny yolk)
    – For as much as some of the “better” commercial eggs can fake their yolk color. You can’t fake what I witnessed in these eggs, which was a noticeable “egg white membrane” around each egg I’ve cracked to cook, it has this perfect circle of membrane around the yolk that is different from straight egg white on the outer ring of egg when in the pan.
    – The last point I’ll address is more anecdotal by way of theory than strictly observations has previously stated, but I believe there to be a difference in the way we digest and assimilate the nutrients in eggs when the bloom is still intact.

    At just shy of $8 a dozen (if like me you by the 12 dozen bundle) along with the extra shelf space in the fridge because these eggs don’t need refrigeration, purchasing these eggs is a no brainer.

Such responsive, caring business model deserves attention and our continuous support. I will continue to buy Frankie’s food products.     I live in California and have had a ton of eggs from the grocery stores to the farmer’s markets. My wife and I constantly buy new eggs and do a blind test to see which one is better, and Frankie’s eggs still come up on top.     These eggs are huge. Way larger on average than grocery store eggs labeled ‘Extra Large’ (even pasture raised eggs in stores that carry them). Yolks are a deep orange color, and the eggs are delicious. They’re a little pricey, but the flavor, premium size, and superior nutritional value make the cost worth it.

    There used to be a slight problem with a few cracked eggs in every order (I order 12 dozen), but they’re shipped in much improved packaging now, and each egg is cradled individually in flexible styrofoam. I have not had one broken egg in the entire 12 dozen since this changed packaging.

    We really enjoy the eggs, and we’ve had only 2-3 broken shells in 3 shipments. The color of the yolks are amazing but there’s only 1 reason for the 4 starts. We’d like to know if these are low PUFA eggs. I emailed the company with that question but never received a response. They say corn and soy free but no mention of any other grain feed. Once our supplier is ready to ship their low PUFA eggs we will more than likely switch to theirs. If these are in fact low PUFA, then we will continue to purchase.

    These eggs are awesome! They are those true golden yolks, the taste and texture is far superior to typical grocery store eggs (even the ones that claim to be organic) — our family swears they even cook differently. Love that they still have feathers on the shells sometimes, truly coop to doorstep! Haha. The only thing, beware when buying that they do not come with containers or holders, just in styrofoam cases in the box. So if you want to refrigerate or store outside the box you will need to get egg holders or baskets. Otherwise just use them straight from the box they ship in. They don’t need to be refrigerated.

    I use to buy the most expensive eggs I can find from Whole Foods. It was from viral farms and the two most expensive ones were there true blue eggs and there regenerative eggs. Darker yellow the whole egg slightly smaller than vital farms looking more natural and untampered with!     These are good tasting. Most of the yolks are a nice amber color. The occaisonal egg has a pale yolk. One even had twin yolks. The only downside is the size inconsistency – but not enough to knock off 1 star. Some were very large some were small. If you need large eggs for recipes, you will need to weight them to figure out what size they are. I would like to order more but need to order 12 doz to get free shipping. It would probably take 6 week for my family of 4 to go through 12 doz. How long do they keep?

I sent another email to Frankie or any other staff member saying if no response to cancel my egg order, never had this communication problem before and I hope it doesn’t happen again as I’m a long time customer and also my son loves most of the products he sells. I gave it a 5 only because of the quality of the eggs I bought this time, customer service needs to be much better in answering emails in a more timely manner.     – I’ve been ordering from them for a while. Occasionally, in the past, a few might be broken. They have changed their packaging to fuller foam, but just know that it is VERY challenging to get the eggs out of the foam without breaking them.
    – If you need to get a hold of the company, just know that they DO NOT respond to emails at all!

    With all the egg shortages I decided to go ahead and splurge on 12 dozen eggs from Frankie’s especially since they’re corn/soy free and was very pleased to see all 144 of them arrive in perfect condition. Only feedback I have is that the website says they do not need to be refrigerated since they aren’t washed but the box included a paper stating they did in fact need to be refrigerated, so definitely make sure you have enough fridge space for this bulk order.

The first few times I ordered the eggs, they came in very secure clear plastic cartons with a top the covered them twice and then each carton was wrapped with bubble wrap and none were broken. The last order I received had the eggs packed in styrofoam which I do not like because one was cracked and they were so tight in the styrofoam that is was hard to remove each egg. If possible, could you please go back to shipping eggs in the clear plastic cartons?

    They arrived in near perfect condition (I broken, one weak shell) and are solid eggs). The whites have substance (shape – they’re not runny) and the yolks are perfectly orange. (Hopefully not from marigolds!).
    Would like to know what they are fed. Being in So Cal, there are lots of fm farmers selling organic, pastured soy & corn free eggs. Unfortunately, they don’t have good energy. (What they eat? The water?) Frankies eggs have a good energy. Don’t. Know what makes them so. The only thing is, I’ve found when frying them, they come out ever so slightly rubbery.
    Had gotten the box of a dozen hoping for others to share them. Was happy to subsequently discovered, they’re available in multiples of 3. Good quality eggs; great price.

    I expected to receive 5star eggs. Everything I’ve bought from Frankie has been 5 star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The shipping was 5star! The yolks were 5star in color, but weren’t as rounded as they would be if they were fresh. But the whites were watery and some of the membranes were detached…tells me they are old. Still edible. We blended on low and froze them. They are good for scrambling & baking, but not frying. I live on the West Coast, so maybe heat & travel time affected them? It’s September, so I wouldn’t have thought that would be an issue. Did the Farmer hang on to them too long or what? I doubt it was Frankie’s fault. I really do! I’ll buy again and hope for a better outcome😊 Frankie’s Customer Service has lots of room for improvement. He doesn’t respond😕
