Vitamin A surge

I didn't order this product but my cousin did and had me over for dinner to have some. I usually eat the cod liver, but I could feel that this veal liver had more vitamin A as my eyes actual seemed to relax shortly after consuming. I have always been vitamin A deficient, and felt so refreshed to have it in such concentration. I will still keep eating the cod liver, but I will supplement with some other types of liver now.

Sweet and Juicy

Usually a chicken or lamb liver eater, decided to venture into milk-fed veal liver after hearing about the health benefits. Cooked much better than other livers and tasted juicy and delicious. Offered it to my mother who hates liver and she loved it! Thanks, Frankie!!

Milk Fed Veal Liver - 2 Pounds

I've never had liver before trying Frankie's veal liver, so I can't compare it to any other liver products. But I love making ice cream out of this stuff! Courtesy of one of Frankie's recipes I take a pound of raw liver at a time along with egg yolks, butter, honey, and salt, and blend it all up in my Vitamix. Then, it's good to go! The second time I made this I used a pound of frozen liver and added some raw goat milk with the other ingredients, and it came out creamier and tastier than the first time, closer to actual ice cream. Eating this ice cream is satiating and makes me feel pretty good when I wake up the next day, and I notice that I have improved mental clarity and more energy.

I don't want to mislead so I'll say upfront that the liver-based ice cream I make tastes nasty. But it's somehow very addicting; after the first few bites, it starts tasting kind of good, and then I can't stop eating it until it's gone (I eat roughly 4 oz at a time and store the rest in the freezer). I even find myself craving and thinking about the taste sometimes even after I just finished eating a portion (just writing this review is activating my craving!), and I affectionately call it "nasty liver ice cream". I've never had this complex love-hate-love relationship with a food before, and I keep coming back for more. All in all, I love this product and will definitely order it again / recommend it!

At 2.2LBS uncut this is a BIG BOI!

The website photo shows three individual slices but this came looking like the Yakuza paid Jabba the Hutt a visit: A single Fred Flintstone portion of Veal Liver! The taste and color is pretty good. If you order this make sure you have a good knife as it seems a little less forgiving than Lamb Liver. Maybe Franky Boi can expand his merch with a quality knife set.
