Grass Fed Skirt Steak
My order recently arrived completely defrosted and warm. I advised the company immediately and got an email back from someone named Frank Tufano who I am guessing is "Frankie". I had asked to exchange the order for one that is not defrosted and to date I been told too bad. Very disappointed.
The skirt steaks I received were thicker but still tender and juicy. Perfect chopped up for street tacos. Definitely buying again!
If you're a steak lover, then you know that the best time of day to eat a delicious piece of meat is breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, there's nothing better than having some marinated skirt steak paired with some pasture raised eggs cooked over easy. For lunch, try a skirt steak sandwich with melted cheese and onions. For dinner, carve up this skirt steak and made tacos for the whole family. Here's a marinade I use that works very well before grilling Frankie's skirt steak:
2 handfuls of fresh cilantro
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp cumin
1 tsp fresh pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup olive oil
Zest + juice 1 lime
2 tbsp coconut aminos or tamari
Let sit for at least 2 hours up to 8 before grilling. Enjoy!
