Macadamia Nut can be argued to be the healthiest nut for its fatty acid profile. Whereas most nuts are very rich in Polyunsaturated Omega 6 Fat, Macadamia Nuts are predominantly Saturated Fats in the form of Monounsaturated Fatty Acids. The average diet, especially Standard American Diets, contains far too much Omega 6 Fatty Acids, Macadamia Nuts being the ideal replacement for the typical High-Omega-6-Nut-Sources in your diet.
