Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have “off” flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.
Uses
Marinade in salted milk or water overnight then throw in the grill or sear in a pan!
Cooked them in a cast-iron pan as-is after brining for a few hours. Delicious. Will be purchasing again.

The meat arrived solid frozen. When I defrosted and used a 2.2lb bag, I found it leaked (hence the 4 star instead of 5). Otherwise the rabbit kidneys were very tasty. I have two more bags left and look forward to more cooking.

If my mom was still alive she would have smothered these kidneys in a black cast iron pot and ate them over rice. Unfortunately she had passed away.
Was happy to see these were fresh frozen. Not known to many people catfish are queer for rabbit kidneys. My brothers and I use these for catfish bait. We use to hunt wild rabbits and would save the kidneys for fishing but with all the country land being developed for houses rabbits are hard to come by.
