Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have “off” flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.

Lovely duck! Roasted it in balsamic glaze, stuffed with wild boar bacon, garlic, and onions – then brazed potatoes and other mixed viggoes in the drippings and some stock. Omg. YUM.

Purchase 2 lamb heads to make demi glace with, 2 ducks and some cheese. Service and shipment speed were great. Duck and lamb were good but I do wish the lamb heads would have split so they were easier to deal with.
Overall good experience and will be back for more from Frankie’s.

Leaner than grocery store duck but still has enough fat for a good duck recipe. One reviewer complained about feathers…we roasted it as-is and couldn’t taste or feel any feather material in the meat. A tougher meat than in used to for poultry but that makes it so fun to eat. The flavor and texture make this a great experience.

The duck was really delicious. The only think needs to improve is that the feathers of the duck needed to be pluck better.
