    Raw, zero preservatives, tastes great, and still way cheaper than any of the expensive brands that include preservatives. Frank and Adam are killing it with the attention to quality on these products.

    This is the real deal! Best cod liver oil out there, Bar None! If you’re used to the processed, watered-down brands than this may be a shock to your system. I would suggest starting with a teaspoon and see how it affects you, then wait an hour or so and have another teaspoon. I would also recommend taking it at the end of a meal as it may be a little hard on an empty stomach. It can also cause a slight tingling sensation in the throat, but that just speaks to the purity of this product. There is a small piece of orange peel on the bottom of the jar which gives it a very subtle hint of orange flavor. Don’t be too quick to form an opinion. Some of you may need to get used to it. Just keep in mind all of the vitamins & minerals you are getting from such a small amount of this liquid gold!

    I was apprehensive. I can’t say I love the taste – however on a range of ratings – this taste is well above what was expected. Knowing it is raw and wild helps so much too. I bought two jars. I take every morning – helps a lot of vitamins when (omega 3 and A and D etc) intake is hard to get in the winter. Love the service from Frankies!! Efficient and timely and convenient! Bravo.

    I was never a fan of cod liver oil. Having been subjected to it as a child and all. I decided to be mature and give a try since this stuff is nutritional gold. To my pleasant surprise this raw cod liver oil was very mild and smooth. I have experienced none of those dreaded fish burps. This stuff is the real deal. I take about a 1/2 tsp of this daily and I notice that I am able to increase the duration of my intermittent fasting by one or two additional hours. My skin also seems to be holding onto moisture better and since I live in a desert climate this is a huge vanity plus for me. I have adjusted my food budget to ensure I am able to keep this on hand as it’s worth the price.

    I hate all sea food and was looking for a way to get high quality omega 3’s. I decided to give Frankie’s cod liver oil a try. I don’t look forward to taking it but it’s not bad (compared to other cod liver oil that I have tried and literally threw up.). I plan to continue taking.

    I wrote a review already, the oil itself has an aftertaste, but taking a teaspoon of raw honey right after cuts through it pretty well! also i like how keeping it in the freezer makes it like a oil slushy, when i first had it i was worried i froze it solid, but it was the texture of sorbet

    I actually don’t mind the flavor of this. It has a buttery fish kind of flavor which isn’t off putting to me at all! I prefer this over salmon roe and its done a great job healing my skin disease. I can’t wait to order more and theres a reason why this stuff is always sold out. Hands down a 5 star product!

    This stuff is pure energy. I work night shifts and a tablespoon of this will keep me going more than coffee ever could. Literally burning the midnight oil when I take this and my focus is so sharp. I so wish this was in stock right now, I miss it. Will definitely stock up when it’s available and keep a jar in the freezer. Definitely an acquired taste but I feel great after so I deal with it. Please bring it back.

    This cod liver oil is the best I have had. I get migraines from vitamin d supplements. This is the first cod liver oil that does not give me migraines after ingesting it. I have found that most companies add vitamin d to their cod liver oils, even when they say no vitamins are added. After taking Frankie’s cod liver oil I feel clear headed and energized just from one teaspoon. A little bit goes along way with this stuff

    Worth the extra money compared to rancid mass produced pills that taste awful and leave you with nasty gas for the entire day. This oil does not taste fishy at all and is the most inoffensive way to take cod liver… Other brand soft gels do not compare to the quality of this oil, it does not need to be masked by a softgel.

    I absolutely love it so much! Initially, I was a bit skeptical about swallowing this oil in its most purest form especially since in the past, I would just take the cod liver oil supplements. I find that the taste is not unbearable at all. It’s a little fishy and leaves a slight fishy aftertaste once swallowed but I’ve used something as simple as unsweetened juice to mask the fishy aftertaste. I actually try not to taste it and just swallow. I store it in the freezer and find that the taste and texture is more to my preference this way. Now mind you, this opinion is coming from someone who consumes frozen raw liver to get my vitamin A on days that I do not take the raw cod liver oil. It is an absolute necessity to chase the frozen raw liver with black iced coffee (no cream), or Kombucha and I still can taste the liver aftertaste, but not nearly as bad as if I just used plain cold water. So after growing accustomed to swallowing 1 oz. of frozen, raw beef liver every other day, the raw cod liver oil is a breeze!

    I have used Rosita cod liver oil before and while it was good quality, the taste was still a little long lasting and slightly acrid. Franks cod liver oil though, is surprisingly subtle and i don’t burp it up all day like any other brand.

    Happy with the cod liver oil and I trust that Frank is sourcing good stuff. As far as nutrient density goes you cant do much better for getting high quality omegas, retinol and D. Its a feel good product. Tastes very clean and pure but you will know its a fish product if you are sensitive to that. I take it straight.

    I have to admit I was nervous about purchasing unflavored cod liver oil. I am extremely sensitive to any fishy odors or taste. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the flavor doesn’t come off as fishy at all. I still chase a teaspoon of this liver oil with lemon juice, but it’s completely manageable. I would absolutely recommend Frankie’s cod liver oil over any of the other brands I have tried.
