Suet Fat or Trim Fat
All of our lamb is 100% Grass Fed and Grass finished raised on Pasture year round.
Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have “off” flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.
Uses
Sear in a pan, on the grill, or render into tallow!

Ramen –
I’ve been consuming this fat both raw and seared. It’s great to use the leftover grease for your eggs.
Blake –
I’ve been eating this stuff at the beginning of my meals to switch it up from just beef fat. It’s delicious! Also amazed at the fast shipping and product packaging.
Nathan Kendall –
Personally, I love the flavor of lamb suet and this stuff nails it home. Super juicy when pan fried. Plus, the tallow you get is just as good.
Thomas Romanowski –
Very prompt, everything in place. Thank you Frank!
Andre –
Cut in smaller pieces. Rendered it on low for 2-3 min on each side. Very tender and some pieces just melted in my mouth – no chewing needed. Love it.
Val –
I am another happy customer. Order came in quickly, well packaged and everything is of an outstanding quality and taste! Beef liver just melts in the mouth and lamb brains — there are no words to describe…
Daniel Tait –
Awesome flavor, nice to switch up the fat on occasion.

Lamb fat with a few streaks of meat still left on it. I eat it raw since it renders from pan-frying. The flavor is always different, and so far it’s reminded me of pure butter, unseasoned white potatoes, and yeast rolls respectively. The bite is like cold butter but with more structure, and grainier texture.
J –
Came cut into strips which was nice. There was no unchewable gristle or anything like I usually find on beef fat.
Yuri Launitz –
I ordered beef fat, lamb fat and lamb brains. All were delicious! The beef fat has a slightly yellowish/orangish color. I believe that’s from the extra nutrients in the fat. Carotenoids if I’m not mistaken, from being 100% grass fed on pasture. Either way the fat trimmings are delicious. I eat the fat trimmings with burgers or steaks or whatever other protein I eat. I cooked the brain with scrambled eggs. When cooking the brain, it has a good fishy smell from the omega-3 fats. Gives me a certainty of the omega-3 content. I’m very happy with my purchase and will be buying more. Frank, thank you very much for providing a good source of meat for those of us who really want it.

I love this product. I find that if I use this as a source of energy when I do a clean high quality animal products based diet, my skin finally becomes soft and healthy. (I have had severe skin problems which have been only healed by following Frankie’s and Dr. Stockwell’s advice). I love making this in my chicken bone broth, which involves me using the instant pot on high pressure for me to make bone broth out of chicken. After removing the chicken broth to store in the fridge, I add the lamb fat strips and more high quality water to make lamb broth mixed with the chicken bones. The broth then has an excellent mix of bone marrow and lamb. Yes, I eat the softened chicken bones as well. I also eat lamb fat raw whenever I get stressed, instead of eating processed, high sugar foods. It has a light buttery taste raw.

Buy ten pounds and render a few larges jars of the best quality lamb tallow. After the oil is all rendered out, you get to eat those delicious leftovers (fritters). They are like lamb bacon! 🙂
Frances –
I’ve had the beef fat, time to try some lamb! Definitely delicious! I’ve had it raw oftentimes, and it tastes great that way. Strange how I prefer the beef counterparts warmed on the grill, but no matter! There’s nothing baaa-d about this stuff!

Grass-Fed Lamb Fat – 5 Pounds
Tomeika –
Delicious. It had a little meat with it which was a nice bonus.
Griffin –
The lamb brains and lamb fat have been a great addition to my diet. The brains were not packaged very well and leaked all over the box. I was able to re freeze them and hopefully saved all of them from spoiling. Other than that I am happy with the products
Jiaxin Zhang –
It’s worth the waiting for the lamb fat and brain, they came very fresh and the brain was even cut into 100g chunks which is very convenient for us to use. They add great flavor in our lamb soup!
Ben –
As someone who didn’t eat lamb growing up and has been used to getting my fat from suet or tallow, I found this to have a strong taste that isn’t really conducive to meeting my fat intake on a keto/carnivore diet.
Tony Herrera –
My family made lamb chicharrones with this lamb fat…my goodness was is good! Frankie’s has quality products ar reasonable prices. We will definitely order again.
Frenna –
I’m never disappointed with Frankie’s foods – lamb fat is what it should be.

Definitely smoother than beef suet
