The pork bacon was the best I ever tasted. I had peace of mind knowing it was pasture raised and low in omega 6 compared to conventional bacon
Wow… that was the best Liverwurst I’ve tasted. The best way I can describe it is like chicken nugget cake. Addicting taste. Would love to buy more.
All of the products in the pork share are good, but the breakfast and Italian sausages were reminiscent of what I had growing up. The pork kept me full all day, so that's indicative of a balanced omega 3 to 6 ratio. Quality. Thanks for all you do Frank.
I care a lot about high quality pork, since it's not only delicious but also very hard to find in the US. To be honest, these meats taste pretty good, but they aren't as super delicious as the classic mass-produced grain-fed grocery store meats that I'm used to. Nevertheless, we trust Frankie so gotta support him.
Italian sausage - spicy, has fennel flavor, tastes very similar to a classic grocery store italian sausage, a little bit less savory than expected somehow
Breakfast sausage - saltier than expected, subtle mellow maple flavor that is very compelling, texture is more like ground pork and the casings get broken and aren't as firm, very delicious and wish I could get 5x of them
Bacon - VERY aggressively smoky, almost bitter, highly strong in taste, good to use a small amount and stretch it out over some pasta or cabbage, overall quite good but doesn't taste like classic mass-produced bacon
Ham - Tasty, flavorful, also a little smoky if I recall correctly; kinda of "firm" and doesn't immediately fall apart when you bite it.
Haven't tried the other two, but I'm guessing they will be good and will update this review later.
