We are sourcing high quality grass-fed beef  from local NY farms as well as Australia (famous for their pasture) to bring you the best tasting and most nutrient dense option available. 

Why Grass-Fed Steak?

Vitamins are stored in the fat of the animal. These determine both the taste and nutrient content. Grain-fed animals are not only missing the quality grasses that make their fat taste good, they also have negative flavors because of what they are being fed. Steak has all of the fat soluble vitamins: A, D, E, K2, as well as fatty acid pre-cursors that can be converted into Omega 3. It is also rich in B Vitamins, as well as all of the minerals and elements.

I'm in no way an expert of meat in general but I have had several brands of store-bought meat ranging from Costco ribeyes, Sprouts grassfed ribeyes, Kroger Simple truth organic grassfed ribeyes, Butcher Box ribeyes, and lastly JFF here in Kansas. With that said I bought this meat based out of curiosity, not necessarily out of an inability to find quality meat nearby. With that said, if I couldn't find a supplier close by, I'd definitely choose Frankie's beef supply. I was never terribly impressed by BB ribeyes. They seemed a little too lean for me and then end product was okay. Not horrible, just meh for me. The steaks Frank sends out are sizeable, pleasantly, the biggest I've ever gotten from any store or farm. That was a big win for me. The flavor was excellent, i eat my steaks on the rare side, not completely raw.

As far as shipping goes, I was a little bit surprised by the fact my little ice packs were melted. The meat was barely cool. I hope in the future there is an investment of dry ice to keep the meat cooler longer. My order was shipped on a Monday as promised and arrived Friday afternoon. Seems like a long time for meat to sit outside a fridge, unless there was dry ice involved. I know I don't live in the hottest state but that day in Kansas was 101 degrees.

All in all, room for improvement on shipping, meat was good. Five stars on meat flavor, 3 stars on shipping!

Best meat I’ve ever had

The meat I received from FFRM was great! It has really nice thick cuts of meat and nice fat caps, very yellow in color and packed with flavor. The pemmican package I received came a little later then rest of the package but Frankie and his team worked fast and hard to get it out. I really like the quality of the meat, the pemmican, and the jerky.
