    I hesitate to write how perfect this product is because if it sells out and there is none available when I go to reorder, which will be twice as much as in my first order, I will be
    upset and blame myself for highly recommending it. Raw with a duck egg yoke in the center and salt is delicious but make it into a burger and put a chunk of melted cheese on top and you will never want another ground beef. This is as food as it gets.

    I’m not wild about beef liver, but I know it’s a highly nutrient-dense food & ya gotta get your Vit.A, right? But I won’t eat kidneys & I’m not wild about heart. Frankie’s organ meat blend is just what I needed. There’s plenty of fat & you don’t taste the organs at all. I tried it for the first time last week to make burgers. This week I made meatballs with it. So far, whatever I’ve used it for tastes terrific! I’ll be buying this instead of plain ground beef from now on.

    I’ve done several orders now to Southern California and the meat always arrives frozen and looking great. The ground beef with organs is pretty strong tasting and will affect the flavor of anything cooked in the same pan, but this is the first time I enjoyed eating cooked liver. I think it’s the texture that really helped, because I really dislike the texture of organ meat more than the taste. I really appreciate what you guys are doing. I got 4 lbs of this and will definitely get more in the future. Really looking forward to trying your new mixed box you’ve been talking about, once I get through all the beautiful ribeyes in my last shipment.

    I had a few items that had the vacuum seal loose and ripped upon delivery probably due to shipping and moving around in the shipping bag. However, I explained and took pictures and was promptly refunded for those items. The other items were great and I am love with the beef belly and raw cheeses.     An easier way to eat your organs. My wife doesn’t care for the taste of most organs but she will eat them this way no problem. There is a slight kidney smell/ taste when cooking/ eating but I season with a little salt, pepper, onion and garlic and that covers the kidney taste/smell that bothers my wife.

    OK, well, the ground beef with organs is probably not my favorite flavor, but I’m still giving 5 stars because I know it’s good for me and it’s a good way to consume the bits I wouldn’t normally have (luckily I was prepared for the taste after watching Frankie’s meatloaf recipe)! Anyway, here’s what I did to make it taste a little better for me: Made tiny little meatballs and sauteed them in caramelized garlic ghee. In the meantime, heated up some homemade beef broth (made from Frankies Free Range marrow bones) with some sea salt to taste and added a couple of eggs and the juice of one lemon (kind of made avgolemono type soup); added the meatballs and seasoned it generously with Dr. Cowan’s powders (pepper salt, horseradish powder, dandelion greens, and parsnip powder). It was actually pretty good! All that to say, highly recommend this product (as usual, Frankie and Adam provided a quality product – thank you, guys)!

It has a distinct liver and organ flavor to it, which I don’t mind at all, but my husband did not like it, as he does not like liver. As for me, thank you, Frankie!     I brown and crumble four pounds of Frankies Free Range ground beef with beef organs. I add 6 to 8 cups of beef stock! 56 oz crushed tomatoes and two large cabbages and bring to a simmer until cabbage is softened. I portioned it into 19 meals. When I reheat I add pecorino romano cheese and eat. I would never know there were organ meat in it. Sometimes I crack an egg or two when reheating after it comes to a boil.

    I give this product a five-star review because it is a much more palatable way to get organ meats in my diet. I just cannot tolerate the taste of organs by themselves, and it’s much easier for me to shovel it down in some ground meat. With that being said, the taste is very much akin to that of Italian sausage which I am not a huge fan of. I much prefer regular ground beef flavor over this, but if I have to choose between organs or this product, the organ ground meat is a no brainer. Support Frankie’s Free Range Meats!!!

    I do not like the flavor of grass-fed beef or organ meat but I really want to because I do a strict carnivore and don’t like eating all the feedlot beef from the grocery store. So I try it all the time and usually end up throwing it out. Seeing the reviews on this I figured I would try this one too. Wow, with my normal seasonings this is really good.     The texture is softer than the Best Burger Blend, so I might not advise using as a burger unless you plan ahead. That being said, it doesn’t really taste organ-heavy and is extremely rich. If you like capturing rendered fat, this is a good grind to do it with.

    Finally, there’s the fact that my body naturally taps out after 12 oz of it. That makes this a really good deal for helping me stay satiated and happy on as few calories as possible.

    Made a meat sauce and pasta for dinner. I’m shocked. This is without a doubt the leanest, CLEANEST, most tasty ground beef I’ve ever encountered in my life. I thought the organs in the mix would make it gamy but it was actually less gamy than the store bought grass fed ground beef I was using before I found Frankie’s!

    It’s actually quite disturbing how bad the competition looks compared to Frankie’s. I always bought 90/10 lean grass fed ground beef from my local grocery store, so, I always thought raw ground beef was supposed to smell off putting. That it was supposed to be dripping with tan oil when you cooked it. That it was supposed to taste musty and gamy. Nope. Frankie’s shines the harsh light of truth on the meat I had been consuming. Frankie’s ground beef has none of those negative things. Frankie’s has a light sweet smell when raw and an even more mild sweet smell and taste once cooked. I can not BELIEVE the lack of oil. There was LITERALLY nothing in the bottom of the pan and we’re talking meat that’s 80/20! It was so clean and lean, for the first time in my life, I actually added a little grass fed butter to my meat sauce!

    No wonder people are sick these days. Who knows what’s actually in our store bought meat. I’m buying Frankie’s from now on!

    …when it used to have fat in it. The old one in the square package was the best ground *anything* I have ever tried. But then it came in butcher paper packing and it was dry as a bone and flavorless. I was so sad, I want the old stuff back. I would buy a lifetime’s worth and freeze it if he would just get that one back. I implore!

    This is really good, but a bit dry for an organ grind mix. It could use a little more more fat. Adding some butter while cooking helps and it really brings out the flavor.

    They obviously care about their products because they listened to the reviews. The new vacuum seal keeps the meat from aging quickly in the fridge while you defrost it. It also seems that they have added a little more fat content, at least in my opinion, the meat wasn’t dry after cooking it. Will absolutely continue to order from Frankie’s

    This is the perfect blend. It predominantly tastes like ground beef with a bit of organ flavor as an aftertaste. If that’s not something you like, the aftertaste can be almost entirely mitigated by adding in some garlic and salt. I only ordered one package so I could sample it first before loading up my freezer. Now I am anxiously awaiting a restock. I legitimately would eat this daily for the health benefits and the natural flavor.

    I made burgers to try out this meat blend for the first time. Didn’t know what to expect taste wise, I’ve had organ meats before and depending how you prepare and cook it they can be tricky. But this ground beef blend rocked my absolute socks off. Bold beef flavor, rich, and juicy even when cooking to well temperature. It’s the closest I’ve come to a premium burger at a steakhouse, and dare I say better – most definitely healthier. Still in awe at how good it was.
